In collaboration with the Energy Communities Interagency Working Group (IWG), the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development’s Rural Workforce Innovation Network (RWIN) is hosting a two-part virtual workshop on how to effectively apply for and manage federal grants. This important webinar series is scheduled for Thursday, April 21 and Thursday, April 28 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET.
These workshops will feature a variety of government speakers and aim to demystify the process of applying for and then successfully managing funding opportunities available across the federal government.
Part one on April 21st will discuss how to prepare and access systems required to apply, including Grants.gov and SAM.gov. Part two on April 28th will feature tips and guidance on successfully applying for federal grants, along with a tutorial on best practices for grants management.
This workshop series is specifically designed for rural communities, including many energy communities, areas that often struggle knowing where to begin applying for much-needed federal assistance. When you register for this workshop, you are automatically registered for both sessions.
