Rural Workforce Innovation Network Workshop on Energy Workforce Programs (USDA)

Join USDA Rural Development and members of the Rural Workforce Innovation Network (RWIN) to learn about opportunities for Rural Energy workforce development with presentations from US Department of Labor, US Department of Energy and US Environmental Protection Agency.

  • DOE speakers (Amanda Rains and Mary MacPherson) will cover the new BIL/IRA energy infrastructure workforce development programs
  • DOL will highlight its Registered Apprenticeship programs – Also rural workforce development grants for Appalachia (energy communities)
  • EPA workforce development programs include water and brownfields, plus preview of IRA workforce elements
