Overview
The Appalachian Region Healthcare Support Program improves helps underserved rural communities in the Appalachian region with planning and implementing health care service improvements through technical assistance to eligible healthcare facilities, including critical access hospitals (CAHs), small rural hospitals, rural health clinics, tribal healthcare facilities, and other healthcare organizations located in the rural counties of the Appalachian region. This program will assist rural healthcare organizations in the Appalachian region with building capacity to improve their financial and operational performance.
