Overview
12/1/2021 UPDATE: The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s intent to issue a “Regional Clean Hydrogen Analysis” Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) has been canceled pending the implementation of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (P.L. 117-58, November 15, 2021). Section 813 of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act requires the Secretary of Energy to establish a program to support the development of at least 4 regional clean hydrogen hubs and requires DOE to solicit proposals for regional clean hydrogen hubs not later than 180 days after the date of the Act’s enactment.
