Overview
Funding for Rural Water will support the seven rural water projects that have been authorized by an Act of Congress before July 1, 2021, in accordance with the Reclamation Rural Water Supply Act of 2006 (43 U.S.C. 2401 et seq.). Eligible use must include rural water projects.
In 2023 additional funds were added under the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, with the allocation of $50 million for Rural Water.
