Energy Community Conversations: Housing in America’s Energy Communities

The Interagency Working Group on Coal and Power Plant Communities and Economic Revitalization (Energy Communities IWG) is hosting a virtual conversation focused on understanding housing challenges impacting America’s energy communities. The webinar will highlight community and federal efforts to build community capacity and feature examples of the innovative partnerships and investments that have led to successful housing development. Speakers will include leaders from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Collective Clean Energy Fund, CFC Properties, HaydenTanner, and the city of Greenbrier County, WV.

The webinar will feature:

  • An overview of how to effectively develop partnerships and leverage investments for community development and economic growth.
  • Case studies from community leaders showcasing how communities have utilized best practices to address housing challenges.
  • Q&A session with speakers.
