Federal Funding Driving Manufacturing and Economic Development in Energy Communities Webinar

The Energy Communities IWG will host a webinar focused on funding programs within the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) relevant to clean energy manufacturing and economic development. Secretary Granholm will provide keynote remarks. Speakers will include officials from various DOE offices, including the Loan Programs Office (LPO), the Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains (MESC), the Office of State and Community Energy Programs (SCEP), and the Office of the Under Secretary for Infrastructure. In addition to funding and tax credits, the webinar will highlight resources to support potential applicants.

  • Summarize open DOE funding opportunities targeting or relevant to energy communities.
  • Share case studies and informational resources useful for accessing Federal funding and repurposing fossil assets.
