We are delighted to invite you to the Rural Partners Network Forum for the Kentucky Highlands Community Network at Pine Mountain State Park, Pineville, Kentucky, on Thursday, May 11, 2023. The lead entity, Kentucky Highlands Investment Corporation, is hosting this forum for local government, nonprofits, and community partners working in Bell, Clay, Harlan, Knox, Leslie, Letcher, Perry, Whitley, and adjacent counties. The agenda intends to build collaboration, capacity, and relationships by connecting the Community Network with targeted federal and civic partners.

Listen to our neighbors share how they collaborated, stacked capital, and sought funding from multiple sources to make their unique project a reality. Moderated by members of USDA and HUD’s Secretaries’ staff and Appalachian Regional Commission’s Federal Co-Chair Gayle Manchin, these panel discussions and testimonies will bolster confidence and enlighten a pathway to success.

Visit representatives from Federal Agencies: The Department of Transportation, the Veterans Administration, the Department of Labor, the Department of Energy, the Small Business Administration, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Social Security Administration, FDIC, HUD, the Appalachian Regional Commission, and the Interagency Working Group for Coal and Power Plant Communities and Economic Revitalization.
