Overview
The Bureau of Land Management’s recreation resources and visitor services support strong local economies and public land conservation. The BLM recreation and visitor services program focuses on sites that have the highest visitation to make any needed adjustments for a better experience. For example, they will evaluate how visitor services, travel management planning, and law enforcement may be improved for residents and visitors. The BLM manages recreation resources and visitor services to offer the greatest benefits possible to individuals and communities and to better enable communities to achieve their own desired social, economic, and environmental outcomes.
